The sandy beach of Grikos looks like a lagoon. Once you arrive, you face an unbeatable combination: the island Tragonisi straight ahead, located right across the bay protecting it from winds and Petra on your right, (known as Ā«KalikaltsouĀ» for locals) a fierce rocky statue resting on the sea. Its coast is the longest of the island; it offers natural shade -due to the aligned tamarisk trees- and natural turquoise waters. It is ideal for boat rides along its coast or long pauses, with a water depth of 2 meters.
