Greek Constructions

Among the best Greek constructions of the year 2011, by «Greek constructions» magazine. The article states: «The hotel is a large waterfront property in Patmos, including the old Xenia building of Patmos. The project was focused on the rehabilitation and reconstruction of the existing building plus the addition of new assemblies. These were designed in two distinct types: A storey complex with individual rooms surrounding a large swimming pool, and two-storey suites with their own garden and private swimming pool».

«New buildings are characterized by the breakdown of their volume, in order not to affect the scale of the settlement to which they belong. The composition was structured around an internal street, starting from the point where public access begins and ending in the reception areas of the main building. The external façades to the street, with intense volume formations and conceal exposures, aim at creating a theatrical dimension».
